NV 25AME BB Bench Test
10/10/2012:
I Ran the 25 AME BB with muffler, 10X6 APC propeller, 5/29 all castor fuel, 4 oz. Tank on my test stand. Recorded 11 minutes running steady @ 10,200 RPM.
Since I regard this engine as a superb potential replacement for my venerable Fox 35 CL engine, I figured that for a typical 7 minutes flight it will require only 2-1/2 Oz. tank. This could lead to a saving of possibly 3 - 5 Oz. if the engine will be equipped with a Tongue Muffler.

Just a suggestion or two
1. I think that adding the 40AX review by Clarence Lee in the August 2004 RCModeler magazine to your "Reviews" could help much in furthering acceptance of the Norvel larger engines by the general modelling community.
2. I may be wrong but there seem to be a perception that Norvel engines are geared more toward performance and competition rather than mostly sport flying. I ran my AME 25 with a 10-6 prop on a bench for testing its suitability to power control line stunt and it did better than my old trusty Fox 35. You may want to advertize this.

Re: Suggestions for NV 60
I would love to see a 60 with plain bushings option for CL. If the weight can be kept under 12 oz. (less muffler) and timing for max torque at around 9,000 rpm - I think that it will be a winner.
