Hi! Any ideas how this can be done? I notice that the new NV engines have a bolt under the needle valve that holds the carb assembly in place. The original Norvel .061 big mig startup doesn’t have this bolt, but otherwise appears similar.

Just heat up the crankcase under the carburetor slightly with a heat gun. The carb is held by epoxy glue, which melts.
